About Us
Hi, I’m Trevor Wain — a paramedic with over a decade of experience responding to emergencies across the East Midlands. I’ve seen first-hand how delays in reaching patients, especially in rural areas, can mean the difference between life and death. Project WAIN was born from that frustration — and from a belief that technology can help bridge the gap. Using my experience in emergency care, drone flight, and community response, I’ve set out to prove that we can get help to people faster — and save more lives. This isn’t a big company. It’s just me, doing what I can with the skills I’ve got, trying to make a difference. With your support, I believe we can build something that really changes the game for emergency care in the UK.
The Team
In 2025, I took things a step further and registered Project W.A.I.N. as a Community Interest Company (CIC) — a not-for-profit structure that ensures everything we do stays focused on helping others. It also opens doors for funding, collaboration, and long-term sustainability.
I’m proud to be joined by a dedicated team of directors who share the same vision for innovation, safety, and community impact. Together, we combine frontline experience, technical expertise, and practical leadership to make real change possible:
Trevor Wain – Founder and Managing Director. A registered paramedic with a background in emergency response and technology, Trevor leads operations and strategy, blending clinical insight with a passion for using drones to save lives and strengthen community resilience.
Bahadur Craig (Craig) – always thinking practically and grounded in community-focused problem solving. His steady approach and operational understanding help keep our projects realistic and effective.
Vilius Rubezevicius (Will) – the tech brain and calm operator who keeps the wheels (and props) spinning. Will oversees much of our drone development and technical innovation, ensuring every mission runs smoothly.
Frances Ingle – our financial lead and advocate for long-term sustainability. Frances ensures that every decision is backed by strong financial management, transparency, and responsible growth.
Michelle Chilvers – responsible for safeguarding and welfare. Michelle ensures our work remains people-centred and ethically grounded, maintaining the highest standards of safety and care in everything we do.
Together, we’re a small team with big ideas — proving that even with limited resources, determination and innovation can make a real impact.
